Wensleydale Heifer Lunch Booked

For those of you who are not from around here, the Wensleydale Heiffer has to be one of the best eating places around here and we have booked lunch there next week.  They specialise in fish.  Can’t wait!

They won an AA award for the funkiest B&B 2011, and hold a Guinness Book of Records award for the world’s largest serving of fish and chips.

  1. Now that is downright cruel to post that. It looks absolutely delicious. I hardly dare ask what it costs.

    • Actually, it is only 22 per person! Drinks will be extra, and service, I suppose, but what the hell, it is supposed to be a lovely place. Doesn’t it sound good. I can’t wait.

      We have worked our socks off this month, it has been a really busy November, compared to a dreadful October, so the two months just about even out. All of us have worked long hours getting orders out; we have sent out about a tonne of cheese each Monday through November, and we are all very tired so I thought this would be a lovely treat as we all like food.

      Am planning on another, lower key Christmas lunch closer to the time, just wanted to treat everyone.

      But hey, you have fabulous food and not to mention weather over in Portugal!
