Goodness, it has been a busy day, what with making 2,000 litres of sheep cheese, Gerry from Carbon

Group popping by to say hello and our internal BRC audit.  Frazzled does not describe my current frame of mind and is not helped by not having access to internet at home for a fortnight now.

Stu started the make off, pasteurising at the crack of dawn, Mark came to help at midday and I joined in later in the afternoon to help pot up and load up the press.

We had bets on when we would finish, but we didn’t quite make it, despite Stu’s offer to buy me a pint if we finished at 4pm.  I think he sabotaged it by finding one more task to do!  No, I’m kidding, there is always a lot more cleaning down than you think when making cheese, whether it’s 800 litres or 2,000.
