A very well deserved result. Congratulations to all of you. Onwards, upwards and more awards to come I am positive.

    • Thanks, Sally – it means an awful lot to us, especially with the Superior, only starting to make it for 3 months, after 18 months of trials. Hope all is well with you both, and thanks! Iona x

  2. congratulations and well done, as one of the organisers of the Countryside Pursuits area at the show it was just a shame the rest of the show was cancelled due to the weather in recent weeks and the state of the showground. Sat at work all day bemoaning the weather.

    • Thanks, Janet, much appreciated, it means an awful lot to us. And yes, such a terrible shame about the rest of the show – sorry to hear that you were affected too. The parking field didn’t seem too bad, a bit boggy in places – maybe a difficult decision to make on part of the organisers – let’s hope for better next year. Feel for you and can understand bemoaning the weather! Thanks for e-mailing in. With best wishes, Iona

      • yes so hard when you have worked behind the scenes for the past year planning for the next show ! Saw the post re Julia selling her cheese vat, is she still making her Durham Blue ? Lovely cheese and I have visited her when I was looking at making cheese too !
